A solid wood entry door cannot withstand the challenging East Coast weather. Between hot, humid summers and cold, windy winters, solid wood entry doors are constantly pushed to the limit out in the East Coast. These severe temperatures are accompanied with wavering humidity levels, causing wood to expand in high humidity levels and to contract in low humidity levels.

On July 27th, Glenview Doors was happy to attend a Hamptons design event — Luxe Hamptons 50 — with distribution partner Antique Lumber Modern Millwork. This event, organized by Luxe Magazine, hosted some of the top designers, architects, and builders in the Hamptons area. Antique Lumber is a one stop design studio centrally located in the Hamptons that works directly with designers, builders, and architects to supply them with custom and stock doors, as well as reclaimed lumber, wood flooring, and trim.

This Thursday, Glenview Doors worked alongside Dubell Lumber to offer the “Architects Lunch and Learn NJ Shore Edition” seminar at the newly renovated Resorts Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City.
