Glenview Doors Awarded The Prestigious Green Award

Glenview Doors received the 2020 Green Award in Technology from Door and Window Market Magazine
Door and Window Market magazine, a publication that is exclusively dedicated to covering the door and window industries, recently awarded Glenview Doors with their prestigious Annual Green Award. Every year, the magazine conducts extensive research to determine which organization is most deserving of the award. This year, Door and Window Market magazine determined that Glenview Doors, for their innovative Euro Technology, is best suited for the Green Award in the technology category.
Euro Technology Entry Doors: Revolutionary and Award-Winning
Our entry doors are built by sandwiching rigid polystyrene layers of foam in between fine wood veneers and European stiles and rails. This construction method, called “Euro Technology,” results in doors that have the same look and feel of solid wood doors but are far more durable, thermally efficient, and weather resistant. It is this technological innovation that earned Glenview Doors the Green Award.
These benefits make our entry doors the best choice on the market, especially for locations with rough or variable weather conditions. Our front doors perform incredibly well in cold, snowy climates (like in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Utah, or Minnesota), in hot, humid climates (like in California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, or Arizona), and in variable, changing climates (like in Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, or Michigan). Our Euro Technology is built to withstand the elements and, unlike typical solid wood doors, our doors don’t fall victim to warping and cracking. So no matter the location of the project, our front doors are always the right choice.
Better for the Earth and Our Customers
The Euro Technology construction method that our customers benefit from so greatly is also far more ecologically conscious than the construction of solid wood doors. Since we achieve the same look and feel of solid wood doors with far less materials, we are able to conserve our earth’s precious resources and minimize waste. Additionally, the incorporation of a rigid polystyrene core into our doors dramatically improves their insulation capabilities, preventing the needless loss of heat or cool air. Beyond that, the addition of a rigid polystyrene core also results in front doors that are much lighter than typical solid wood doors, greatly reducing the amount of fuel used to transport them.
It is for these reasons and more that Glenview Doors was featured in Door and Window Market magazine as the winners of the prestigious Green Award. We encourage you to learn more about our innovative production methods, to explore our many product lines, and to contact us with any questions regarding our entry doors.
